About Ivy Clark
I’m a web generalist (IA, designer, developer) based in Perth, Australia. I have many years of valuable experience in creating user-centric web sites and intuitive web applications. As an advocate of usability, universal accessibility and supporter of w3c guidelines, I was responsible for implementating some of the first CSS sites in Singapore.
My specialties include: Business requirements gathering and analysis; competitive benchmarking; user centric information architecture wireframing; web design/development; storyboarding for interactive computer based training (CBT).
My Experience
My experience comes from many years of working with companies from different industries with the need to achieve very different objectives online. Whether hired directly by clients, working through agencies or as a full-time employee, my ability to consistently deliver strong results has never disappointed.
In the last 5 years, I was a web master and project manager in the Aviva’s APAC regional I.T. department, overseeing the web interfaces team. My responsibilities included project managing the portal applications as well as leading our team in the governance and administration of websites for Aviva businesses across the region. There, I enjoyed priviledge of working alongside the most talented colleagues and inspirational managers from across the region (Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, UAE and Australia).
Between 1999 to 2002, I worked mainly with local Small-Medium-Enterprises (SMEs) to help them develop their online strategies and maximise their online presence. My strengths and abilities were soon recognised by my peers as well as customers. By 2002, I was working with clients like DBS, SIA Cargo, SIA and Singtel.
